I am not “media” but I am liberal. I am not “attacking” Newt Gingrich. I HOPE he is the Republican candidate. I know President Obama can beat him. I am not sure that President Obama can beat Mitt Romney.
I have heard some of the stories about Newt Gingrich. I know Republicans HATE him. The better you know him and the more you have to be around him the more you hate him.
I have read and seen on TV a little about him and his ex-wives but did know the entire story.

I did not know that he left both of his ex-wives after they got sick. I guess “in sickness and in heath” does not mean anything to Newt.
Newt Gingrich left office in disgrace with his entire party hating his guts and wanting nothing to do with him. Newt started working right then to get back and gain money and power. He has made the money big time.
In the story above I love the quote from Newt’s staffers “He’s a sociopath, but he’s our sociopath.”
In the story above it says that Gingrich’s mother was manic-depressive. I mention it because genetic factors contribute to developing disorders like it. That might explain some of the actions of Newt Gingrich.
Again, believe me, I am not attacking Newt because of any mental disorders, if he has them, because I have seen psychiatric disorders up close and personal in my own family.
It just explains much about Newt. It does not make me feel sorry for him. I think you can be an ass hole AND have psychiatric disorders.
